Why I Dont Work There Anymore..

The average woman would rather have beauty than brains, because the average man can see better than he can think.

Experience is what you get when you didn’t get what you wanted.

Some of us have not had small kids in the house for some time, we forget what it was like. Here then is a small piece I found which lays out a procedure to reacquaint yourself with feeding small children..

The only way to keep your health is to eat what you don't want, drink what you don't like, and do what you'd rather not. - Mark Twain

Feeling a bit down today?

I thought I was supposed to be the one with a black outlook on life.

Liked the Twain quote.

Ah yes TSB, Apart from it being the depths of Winter here (I dont DO cold) I also lost a good friend to Cancer this week who has been sick for some months. It's hard to lose a friend, harder to see what Cancer can do to a person

Gettin' a bit chilly here too! :¬)

Hi Máirtín Stíobhaird, and welcome. I guess it depends where you live as to what you even call 'Cold'. The Winters here in Southern Australia are not nearly as cold as some places, but theres nothing between us and Antarctica. When the cold Arctic winds tear across the ocean and into us it still gets a bit nippy..

I have much better methods of feeding a one year old.
Method 1: Make sure he/she is hungry, they'll sit there and open their mouths like baby birds.
Method 2: make sure they're hungry. put a bowl of finger foods nearby and leave them to it. As soon as they lose interest, remove the bowl. (no spillage or tossing of food)
The keep them hungry method also ensures the kids will eat just about anything offered, they don't get picky.

Of course you are spot on there River but todays parents have little idea and todays kids are spoiled and have no idea what hunger feels like.

I'm with you on River's method of feeding children.

They'll eat just about anything when they're hungry!!

Hi Pearl, Todays Western children get way too much food, what a spoiled, wasteful bunch of people we have brought into the world.
