Port Broughtan

Calm clear waters protected from the sea by a sandy peninsula..

7:30am looking straight into the rising sun, I was a bit surprised this photo came out at all albeit with a bit of Halo and that refraction in the lower corner showing the high quality of the Leica lens.

Got to love those holiday colours..

Hand held at night capturing the last rays of the setting sun.

    DAMN...jumped too hard

Ive been away on holiday to the lovely seaside town of Port Broughtan in South Australia, I fully intended to post from there but the internet coverage was slow at best and once all the kids were up with their internet equipped smart phones turned on the internet was a joke. (Thanks TELSTRA)

..now I'm having trouble getting back up to normal speed. (Yawn!)

Hi Maurcheen, Funny that, I reckon we could swap places for a while as I'd love to see your homeland. Id eventually get sick of the cold as you'd get sick of the heat.

Hey Kym, it's not always cold and pissing cats and dogs here (though it IS right now!) I don't think I'd ever get tired of the heat, especially as I get older!

Gimme a shout when you get here, first pint is on me! :¬)

Port Broughton looks like a wonderful place! I've never been there, maybe I should...where's my map?
Lovely photos.

Been a while since I have visited. Got through to where I left off, laughing so hard. Cracked up at Mon-Fri jump in the beer, that's perfect for today.

Hi River, Im surprised you never visited there when you lived so close. It's only 1 1/2hrs from where you are if you go left at Wakefield.
Hi AV, it's beer weather here at the moment as well, it was 43.7C today and will be progressively hotter day by day over the next 5 or 6 days.

Visiting involves bus travel, not too bad, but then there's accomodation costs, because I wouldn't like to go up and back on the one day.
