I did this one quite some time ago just after inserting a new motor into the 'beast' Im posting it just to see if it works after some recent modifications.
It suffers from being taken with a poor quality camera. The poor camera just couldn't cope with the rapid changes of scenery. I bought a new one and bracketed it to the front of the car...it was worse!
Back to square one..

Busy road ye got there! :¬)
perhaps you should drive slower? :)
and it looks like you're on the wrong side of the road. (kidding.)
You have just given me an idea. I'm so gonna do that on my road trip this summer!
Mapstew, Typical secondary road here abouts, it runs down the coast from Port Pirie to Port Broughton South Australia...and this footage was taken on school holidays (busy season)
Kym, We're only allowed to do 110km/hr (70mph)here in OZ. It must be a bit freaky for you in the USA as your movies are to us. Experience has taught me that the closer the camera is to the road the faster it looks...(convinced?)
Jen, I'll be looking forward to seeing your footage, I'm sure it will be enlightening to see how the other half live/drive..
