Just for fun

"Did you ask if you could take my picture...did you?! "

Oh Look, it's a...it's a...it's a...

OH SHIT!!!

Understanding the car...for Hoons: Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car. Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall, torque is how far you take the wall with you...

WHOA!

As far as I'm concerned, both of those animals exist on TV and no where else. :-)

Seriously. To see either one in the wild would probably cause my jaw to drop for DAYS!

Having had a close encounter by a big red 'roo' some years ago, I was somewhat unsettled by that picture.

They are damned fast! But they don't follow you into the river!

No! I didn't meet one of the subjects of your second picture while I was in there!

Hi Pearl, We have both in abundance, a walk in the bush just out of town here will find you several Roo's sleeping under trees. If you don't get too close they just look at you then go back to sleep. Driving the highways at night sees you dodging constantly to miss them. Sadly I've hit 4 or 5 over the years. No Crocs in Southern Aust...just sharks! Whew!!
Hey Symdaddy, someones been lying to you my friend.. Roo's can and do swim. If chased they will go into the water but will not follow you into the water. Ive seen one go into the sea to avoid a big dog, it's owner stood laughing until I told him I would shoot his dog if he did not call it back. (Roo's are protected)

That photographer was very lucky that the roo didn't rip his or her belly out with it's hind legs.

Hi Windsmoke, They put their head back and eyes closed like that to protect their eyes when fighting, but need to lean back on their tail before they bring those hind legs up to kick you into next week. They have long claws as you know and those little forearms can do some real damage...but it's the back legs you really must watch out for. Ive never seen it done but have heard of the damage they do. This person must have pissed him off big time to get this reaction.

Oh yeah, I know they swim but they ain't keen on jumping several feet down into the water! I doggy-paddled a good few yards to get back out again, I can tell ya!

Hi,
Great pictures, I haven't actually seen a big red attack anyone like that, but of course here in OZ we know it happens, they will go in the water, and are not bad swimmers, did you see how many were picked up and rescued from the flood waters in Queensland?

The old croc does not look happy, the motor, boat, guy, are in his territory.

If those darned walls would move out of my way I wouldn't need to learn the vocabulary.

Hi magsx2, Ive been attacked by male Roo's twice, but neither time was this bad. I know not to let them actually grab you, they cant turn very fast so you just keep getting behind them. I got told about those Roo pics but didn't see them.

Hey Jen, They do move..Ive seen them doing it. . .and a few have jumped out in front of me.LOL
