Just Pics

RedBacks really do show up in places like this, just that silhouette tells me it's a Red Back and every Aussie kid quickly learns the shape and the exact feel of their particularly strong web.

HaHaHa.
One of the reasons we came to NZ was NO BLOODY POISONOUS SPIDERS
and
NO BLOODY SNAKES

I'm surprised that the Women's Logic book is only one volume. It would make a great doorstop don't you think? Or a spare seat at a bbq.

I reckon the Women's Logic Book is full of blank pages!!. I've seen many a Redback spider while out camping with my parents back in the 60s and 70s and they do turn up in strange places :-).

Hi Tempo,
Great pics, I loved all of them, but my favouites would be the gummy bears, I just love the caption on that one.

The redback, that is oh so true, and the Women's Logic, I was surprised, I thought the book would be bigger, but then I saw Condensed Edition. Lol

Hi TSB, When I visited NZ I really couldn't believe that there were no nasties. No screens on the windows, no snakes...I loved my time over there and if I had to leave OZ thats the one place I'd feel happy.
Hi River, I've seen these books before, they promise all sorts of enlightenment but sadly the pages are always blank.
Hi Windsmoke, The RedBack and I know each other very well indeed, we have shedloads of them out here and I come across them several times a week at least.
Hi Mags, Yep, thats my fav as well, I like the humor in that one. As for women's logic..if it was penned by a man then it's completely blank because every woman knows we know nuthing!

Massive spiders hiding in the toilet? When I see Australia on the telly it looks like a great place for a holiday, then something like this crops up and makes me realise that if I ever had the money to get there, I'd just spend the entire time safely stuck in a plastic bubble, like some kid with a weird disease.

Hi Steve, It's really not so bad, a few things you cant do like anywhere else but they make sure all the tourist places are flash as. In fact they kind of ruin everything with concrete walkways and fences to keep the critters away from the unsuspecting tourist, but we're always glad to see you guys come over.
